HISTORY

Built in 1924, is a two-story brick Italian Renaissance style institutional building located in a park-like setting on the outskirts of Alexandria. It was built by the Grand Lodge of the State of Louisiana Free & Accepted Masons “for the housing and care of our less fortunate children” and forms part of a campus-like complex.
